The Achiase District is one of the 33 MMDAs in the Eastern Region established under LI 2370 when in 2018. Achiase is the District capital. The Achiase District Charter has been developed in line with Service Delivery Standards of Local Government Service and in accordance with best international practices in Local Governance, taking into consideration the needs of its numerous diverse clients.
